To mark the anniversary of the end of World War II, the VETUNI rector and students laid wreaths at memorials on the university campus and at the Kaunic‘s Hall of Residence. Professor Eva Voslářová was accompanied at the ceremony by dorm director Peter Kompér and student representatives Anna Václavková and Alexandr Čača. On the university campus, a bouquet was laid at the memorial to the faculty and students of the former University of Veterinary Medicine who lost their lives during World War II. At the Kaunic‘s Hall of Residence, VETUNI representatives observed a moment of silence and laid a bouquet to honor the memory of all those who were tortured and executed there during the war.
