The 186th plenary session of the Czech Rectors’ Conference

On June 4, 2026, VETUNI Rector Prof. Eva Voslářová attended the 186th plenary session of the Czech Rectors’ Conference, where representatives of higher education institutions met with Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports Robert Plaga and Dana Bilíková, Director General of the Higher Education, Science and Research at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Dana Bilíková, primarily regarding the preparation of a new Higher Education Act, and with the Chairman of the National Accreditation Institute for Tertiary Education, Jaroslav Miller, regarding the current status of the preparation of new accreditation standards.
The plenary session of the Czech Rectors’ Conference was followed on June 5 by a joint meeting of the Slovak Rectors’ Conference and the Czech Rectors’ Conference, at which the strategic management of universities, their financing, and the evaluation of the quality of universities’ educational and creative activities were discussed. Both meetings took place at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
